Gorgeous Fall Weekend

Although winter is quickly approaching, a nice fall weekend full of sunshine was a great ending to a busy week! As we are bringing the semester to a close, papers, projects, and any other kind of work you can imagine is hitting hard. I am just thankful the weekend came when it did!

We began the weekend off having dinner and drinks at El Patron and ended up at Bar 202 for more drinks, laughs, and lots of fun!

Saturday morning Evan and I got an early start and headed to Richmond to see Dylan play soccer! He is really becoming quite the soccer player just like his dad and two older brothers! Unfortunately we haven't seen him play but a couple times this year, but it is awesome to see him play with boys that are 7 and 8 (when he is only 6!). We were also able to also spend time with Gareth, Lindsay, Evan's Dad, and Lauri, which is always a good time!

From the soccer game we headed off to Caroline County to visit Evan's Mom and boyfriend, Harry. We had a great time catching up with them, having a nice meal out, and enjoying the beautiful weather! I got to feed the chicken's with Evan's mom, while Evan helped Harry chopped down a few trees. I think I got the better deal ;) 

Today we left to head back to Farmville, but made a few stops in Richmond. The first was to see my mom! We got to spend some time with her and enjoy the weather outside for a bit. We then stopped at Evan's dad's to switch cars out and spend some time with his Dad and Lauri. 

What a busy, but wonderful weekend! We enjoyed the weather and the time we got to spend with friends and family! We are so blessed!
